Foundation piers and stabilization in the Memphis area
Steel or concrete piers to stabilize and, where possible, lift settling sections.
Piers transfer the weight of the house to firmer soil or bearing strata below the active clay layer. Which system fits depends on the house, the soil and how much movement there is.
Foundation work of this size usually falls under a full Tennessee contractor license (jobs of $25,000 and up). Ask to see the license and the engineering behind any pier plan.
What our estimate includes

Foundation piers and stabilization: common questions
Will piers close the cracks in my walls?
Lifting can close some cracks, but cosmetic repairs to drywall and brick are usually a separate step after the foundation is stable.
